Adams Dairy Parkway Southbound Lanes Closed - June 24, 2008
Blue Springs, Mo. - On Tuesday, June 24, 2008 the southbound lanes of Adams Dairy Parkway between R. D. Mize Road and 40 Highway will be closed for curb replacement. The road closure will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 24.
Contractors will be replacing the curb along the west side of Adams Dairy Parkway. As the equipment used during this process will encroach into both lanes of the roadway, Public Works officials have closed the southbound lanes of Adams Dairy Parkway in order to minimize safety concerns for motorists and workers.
In order to facilitate the work, the northbound lanes of Adams Dairy Parkway will be converted to two-way traffic lanes, one lane traveling in each direction, north and south, separated by cones. Public Works traffic guides, also known as "Flaggers", will be present along roadway intersections to ensure the safety of motorists during the diversion.
