Kosuke Tokunaga, a Japanese 4-H exchange student is visiting with the Alter family for three weeks. Besides touring and becoming a member of the Blue Springs community, Kosuke has been traveling to other areas of the Metro. He attended the First Friday Art Fest, in Kansas City, attended his first Major league baseball game at Kauffman stadium. Toured Lake Tapawingo, visited city hall. Kosuke has enjoyed the rural areas in north central Missouri. He experienced the Amish country store. Toured the Chillicothe Iron and Steel Company. "It is quite breath taking to see so much corn, soybeans and cattle," Kosuke states. "The food is so plentiful here in Missouri."
