Moreland Ridge MS PTSA is hosting the TAKE DEFENSE (the Ali Kemp Education Foundation) program in January. The program is a hands on self-defense workshop for females ages 12 and up. Since the program began more than 20,000 females have been trained across the United States. Last year was their first visit to Blue Springs and more than 300 were in attendance. The program is free and is open to anyone - you don't have to live in Blue Springs - you do have to be female ages 12 and up. Registration form follows:
