The City of Blue Springs is hosting its 5th Annual Developers Workshop on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm in the “Technology Theater” at the Adams Pointe Conference Center. Breakfast is included and is sponsored by Stewart Title.

The purpose of this Developers Workshop is the following:

  • Provide information and data regarding regional and local development and real estate trends.
  • Discuss recently approved City Ordinances.
  • Provide an update on the Missouri Innovation Park at Blue Springs.
  • Demonstrate how to use the City’s new Geographic Information System – Online Mapping.
  • Provide an update on City Bond Projects.
  • Offer discussions concerning, “LEED” Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
  • Discuss the need and importance of water quality, water gardens and recycling.

As you know, the City of Blue Springs has been working hard over the past couple of years to improve various development processes and policies and to improve our customer service and outreach efforts in the development community.  We are excited about this year’s agenda and look forward to having another highly successful event.

We can only accommodate approximately 100 participants, so register early.

Individuals interested in attending can contact the Community Planning Department at 228-0207 or email Karen Findora, Administrative Assistant at comdevlegal@bluespringsgov.com

Don't miss this opportunity to be part of an event that sets new standards for how the City shares important development related information and ideas.
