Greetings!

The following information was shared by group attendees at the Roundtable meeting on February 23rd, 2010.  Please take the time to forward this information to members of your civic group or organization.

The primary goal of The Roundtable is to enhance communication and connect local groups.  Here is what is going on in Blue Springs!

NEW Disc Golf Course is nearing completion.  The course will be a co-host location for a May 23rd & 24th tournament in conjuction with Lee's Summit Disc Golf Course, the first collabortion between the two departments.

June 6th is the date set for the dedication of the walking trail at Greg Grounds Park.  The trail is already seeing lots of use!

Roscoe also gave an update on "The Wall That Heals" exhibit that will take place at Pink Hill Park from September 30th to October 3rd, 2010.  This will be a huge community event that will require many volunteers- a great opportunity for your civic organization to be involved in a great community-wide activity!

The Roundtable meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  You are invited to attend and share your group's activities and discuss relevant community issues!

If you would like to share information through The Roundtable, you may either bring that information to a scheduled meeting or email your communication to me at bessmann@adamspointecc.com.  I will be glad to share that information with the group and via email.

Sincerely,
